Richard Nowell Wright – Author

A native of Atlanta, Richard Nowell Wright studied English literature at Emory University and completed doctoral-level coursework in history at the University of Georgia. In lieu of writing a dissertation, Richard, much to his own surprise and the dismay of others, chose to enter the residential real estate market. His erstwhile business venture consumed the next twenty or so years of his professional life. Returning to his senses, Richard found his way back to his first loves, writing and teaching. Richard now lives in North Georgia with his dog Stella, a corgi mix whose distant relatives reside at Windsor Castle.
